The ws2811 LED strip is a relatively cost-effective pixel addressable product currently, controlled by an external IC WS2811. Usually, each IC controls 3 LEDs at 12V voltage, and 6 LEDs at 24V voltage, so the LEDs controlled by each IC can be called a pixel. Each pixel can be addressed individually, making it very flexible in many applications.
The WS2811 LED strip product uses a three-channel controller integrated with a dedicated circuit, built-in MCU digital interface, latch and shaping amplifier circuit, etc. Through zero-return code communication, it can achieve a transmission distance of more than 20 meters between any two points, without the need for a signal amplifier circuit, with 256 levels of grayscale, a scanning frequency of 2.5Khz, and a serial interface design to receive and decode data through signal lines. The RGB LED combination can achieve 16.7 million different changes.
