SK6812 4020 side LED  strip is a programmable colorful light strip with a special packaging design. Its core features are the side-emitting direction and integrated intelligent control IC, which give it significant advantages in specific lighting scenarios.

Unlike traditional pixel LED strips that emit light from the front, the LED chip of SK6812 4020 (size 4.0mm×2.0mm) emits light directly from the side, and the light radiates parallel to the PCB board.
Suitable for narrow spaces, edge lighting (such as cabinet gaps, glass curtain wall frames) or sign backlighting, achieving hidden and uniform linear light effects

Each 4020 packaged LED has a built-in SK6812 driver IC, supports single-line serial communication (SPI protocol), and realizes "single point single control": each LED can independently set the RGB color of 256 grayscale levels, with a combination of 16 million colors. The data uses automatic shaping and forwarding technology, the cascade distance can reach more than 10 meters, and the signal distortion is low, supporting long-distance high-density layout
Powered by 5V voltage, high refresh rate: PWM frequency reaches 1.2kHz (compared to WS2812B only 400Hz), effectively reducing visible flicker to the human eye, suitable for high-speed dynamic effects, wide color gamut and consistency: built-in PWM constant current technology to ensure uniform full-color mixing; special red light treatment improves color balance
