SMD3838 RGB LED strip is a lighting product that uses 3.8mm×3.8mm LED chips. It features ultra-narrow width, high-density layout and flexible installation. It mainly meets the needs of small spaces and refined lighting.

SMD 3838 RGB LED Strip Features：

1. Ultra-narrow width design
With a width of only 5mm and a height of 1.3mm, it is one of the narrowest RGB light strips currently available, suitable for embedding into mini aluminum grooves, silicone hoses or narrow gaps (such as furniture edges and display cabinet shelves).
Compared with traditional models (such as SMD5050 width ≥10mm), it saves space and is more concealed.
2. High-density LED layout
The number of LEDs per meter reaches 60–240, which is much higher than SMD5050 (usually 30–120 per meter). High density brings more uniform light, reduces granularity, and improves color mixing.
3. Luminous performance
Luminous flux: about 800~3000 Mcd/meter (microcandela), moderate brightness, suitable for atmosphere lighting rather than main lighting. Lighting angle: 120° wide angle, providing a wide light coverage range.
Color rendering: conventional color rendering index RA>80, some high-end models support RA>90 (need to be customized), and color reproduction is more realistic.
4. Electrical specifications
Voltage: supports 12V or 24V DC, 24V models have a smaller voltage drop and can be connected in series over longer distances.
Power: 8W/m (12V low-density model) to 18W/m (24V high-density model), with low power consumption.
Cutting length: Flexible cutting to adapt to different installation sizes.
5. Heat dissipation and life
Using 2-ounce copper thick PCB and large-size bracket, the heat dissipation efficiency is better than the narrow substrate model, reducing light decay. The working life is up to 30,000 hours, supporting -20℃~60℃ ambient temperature.
6. Protection level
Optional IP20/IP65/IP67/IP68 to meet a variety of indoor and outdoor scenarios.
