What Is Top Emitting LED Neon Strip?
Top Emitting LED Neon Strip (also called Top View LED Neon Strip) is a type of LED neon light where the light is emitted vertically from the top surface of the strip.
It is constructed by embedding LED chips inside a flexible silicone housing with an optical diffusion structure. The light passes through the top of the silicone, creating a continuous, uniform neon-like lighting effect without visible LED dots.

How to Choose LED Neon Strip?
When choosing, consider the specific application scenario and focus on the following 8 dimensions:
1.) Brightness (lumens): Select the appropriate brightness and color rendering index (CRI) based on environmental requirements.
2.) Color and Color Temperature: Choose monochrome, RGB, or adjustable white light according to the application. Color temperature (K value) determines the warmth or coolness of the light; low color temperatures (2700K-3000K) are warmer, and high color temperatures (5000K-6500K) are cooler.
3.) Protection Rating: Indoor: IP20 / IP65; Outdoor, bathroom, swimming pool, and other humid environments should choose IP67/IP68 waterproof models. High temperature and strong UV environments: Prioritize UV-resistant silicone.
4.) Size (width/height): Larger sizes (e.g., 50mm × 25mm) offer higher brightness and are suitable for large-area decoration; smaller sizes (e.g., 6mm × 12mm) are more flexible and suitable for narrow channels or intricate markings.
